War on Want

War on Want is a campaigning organisation which works to challenge the root causes of poverty, inequality and injustice. FMF supported War on Want’s work to oppose the Trans-Atlantic Trade Partnership (TTIP), aims of which included destroying regulations which protected the environment and handing unfettered power to multinational corporations. The election of President Trump and the UK’s withdrawal from EU, while far from ending these threats, mean that a campaigning focus on TTIP specifically, was not a current priority.
